Alida K. (Eckert) Mathews, 97yrs., of Columbia, Ill., passed away on July 18, 2007, at Canterbury Manor Nsg. Center, Waterloo, Ill. She was born on December 4, 1909, in Columbia, Ill, the daughter of the late Valentine and Lena (Lang) Eckert. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, Ill. She was married to the late Leo P. Mathews on June 10, 1928. He had passed away January 8, 1954.
