Alice A. Schlemmer's Obituary
Alice Alma Schlemmer, 90 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on April 27, 2019 in Columbia, IL. She was born November 13, 1928, in Waterloo, IL. She was married to the late Clyde Schlemmer. They were married on November 30, 1947. He passed away on November, 24, 1977.
Alice was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and American Legion Post #581 Auxiliary, Columbia, IL.
Surviving are her children, Robert (Nellie) Schlemmer of Columbia, IL, William (Marie) Schlemmer of Columbia, IL, Theodore (Deb) Schlemmer of Millstadt, IL, Raymond Schlemmer of Alorton, IL and Jeanette Ann Schlemmer of Columbia, IL, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Minnie, nee Henke, Stumpf; son, Clyde Carl Schlemmer, brother, Charles and Robert Stumpf, sisters, Helen Gleanzer, and Dorothy Schuchardt .
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1, 2019, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia, IL. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday May 1, 2019 at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Goddard officiating. Interment will follow in the Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia, IL
