Alexander J. Harres' Obituary
Alexander Jackson Harres, 37 years, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away on August 24th, 2023 at home. He was born May 7th, 1986, in Metairie, Louisiana to his parents, Jack and Gwendolyn (Klasing) Harres.
Alex enjoyed gaming, computers, and Cardinals baseball. He enjoyed reading the Bible as his faith was very important to him.
Surviving is his mother, Gwendolyn Harres, brother, Dustin Harres, and grandmother, Carole Harres, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Harres, paternal grandfather, Hilbert Harres, and maternal grandparents, Rev. Raymond and Mary Klasing.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed towards Alex's final expenses.
Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home.
