Albert Hornbostel was born in Shiloh, IL, son of the late William and Minnie (Nordmeyer) Hornbostel. He was the husband of Virginia J. (Willis) Hornbostel who survives him. They were married on November 5, 1935 in Chester, IL. Albert was retired from the Columbia Unit #4 School District, was a WW II Navy Veteran, and was member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Columbia, IL, American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL, and the V.F.W. Post, Millstadt, IL
