Agnes L Hudson's Obituary
Agnes L. Hudson, nee Treece, 92, of Baldwin, Ill., born, January 13, 1925 in Portageville, MO., passed away, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Hudson was a member of Percy Assembly of God Church in Percy, Ill., she loved gardening. She sold her vegetables to friends and neighbors. Agnes won 1st or 2nd place for her Christmas light display every year, and enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Baldwin Community Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert Hudson, parents, Richard and Edna, nee Nowell, Treece and her sisters, Barbara Lust and Sloan Kiddy.
She is survived by her brother, Bobby Treece, her cousin, Nora (Benny) Maulding, her step-children, JoAnn (Jack) Franklin & Donald Wray Hudson. She is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great grandchildren, 5 step-great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved miniature poodle, Baby and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Higbee City Cemetery or Percy Assembly of God.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill., with Pastor Steve Duncan, officiating.
Burial will be in Higbee City Cemetery in Higbee, MO.
