Adam C. Whittington, 28 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on July 30, 2023, at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO. He was born November 30, 1994, in Festus, MO.
Adam was a member of Teamsters Local 682 and worked as a forklift operator for Bluelinx. Adam enjoyed listening to music, especially Mac Miller, riding BMX bicycles, and skateboarding. His free time was spent hanging out with his friends. He loved to go camping and on adventures in the outdoors. Adam loved the simple things in life.
Surviving is his Mother, Amy (Duane) Daughtery, Sister, Emily (Rachel) Finley, Niece, Indie Finley, Aunts, Suzanne, Andrea, Jessica, Christine, Denise, Rebecca, Uncle, Paul, Grandmother, Janet Flynn, Grandfather, Ken Gamache, along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Peter Whittington.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 6, 2023, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, IL, and Monday, August 7, 2023, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 7, 2023, at Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, IL, with Jim Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo, Illinois.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed toward the family to assist with funeral expenses. Contributions can be made at the visitation or by mailing a check to Leesman Funeral Home at 326 S. Main St. Dupo, IL 62239.
