AC Jones, 57 years of Dupo, Illinois, received his wings on July 4, 2023 in Dupo, Illinois. He was born August 25, 1965, in Lubbock, Texas to his parents, AL Jones and Teller Bell Maxey Cook.
Surviving is his wife, Andrea Jones, children; Lydia Johnson (Trevor) of Columbia, IL, Allan Michael (Heather) Lourwood of Dupo, IL, and Antonio Cozart of Columbia, IL, sisters; Myra (Bernard) Johnson of East St. Louis, Carolyn Driver of Collinsville, IL, Joyce (Darren) Glover of Alorton, IL, Vicky (Dennis) Johnson of Conyers, GA, and Teawana (Jason) Harris of Fairburn, GA, brothers; Billy Maxey of Alorton, IL, James (Karen) Thomas of Belleville, IL, and AL Jones Jr. of Alorton, IL, six grandchildren, two aunts, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, AL Jones and Teller Bell Maxey Cook, step-father, Sammy Cook, sister, Edna Phillips, and brother, William Dunlap/Bonehead.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 25th, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Prairie duPont.
