Mr. McKinney was an educator and administrator in education, having served as a Superintendant of Schools, high school principal, guidance counselor, mathematics teacher, band director, and choral director. He touched countless lives in Ford County, IL. He retired as the Regional Educational Superintendant in Ford County - 16 yrs. He had been published, listed in Who's Who Among Educators, and served on many committees and boards of higher education. He was always active in church music programs. Locally he was a teacher of Bridge.He had been a 50 yr. member in the American Legion in Paxton, IL, and Columbia, IL, Post #581.
