As a child, she also was one of my favorite Aunts. She was like looking at a full fledged movie star as a kid. She has that "look" that could scare you, but once she started talking, I listened to every word and then laughed. Her heart was of gold. Another angel has gotten their wings.
I'm so glad I got to be around Joan on many occasions, her presence will be missed I'm sure, but her memories are our lifetime. Treasure them all. Thoughts are with your family.
Joan was a wonderdul woman that molded some of the best people I know. Her legacy will live on through them and they will honor her well. You will be greatly missed Joanie. Rest in peace classy lady.
