Zachary "Zach" Vernon Lloyd Holcomb

Zachary "Zach" Vernon Lloyd Holcomb, 39 years of age from High Ridge, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was born May 1, 1983, in Springfield, Illinois. Zach enjoyed golfing, shooting, his cars, fishing, hunting, making knives, bowling, spending time with his family and friends, but most of all being with his four legged best friend Kaiser. He is survived by his father, Jon Edward (Kathleen) Holcomb of Athens, Illinois, his mother, Carol Jo (Alan) (Wiese) Goldsmith of Hudson, Florida, his two brothers, Jeremy (Jennifer) Holcomb of Springfield, Illinois, Robert Scott of White Hall, Arkansas, his three nieces, Ashley Holcomb, Emma Holcomb, and Elizabeth Evans-Scott, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his two grandparents, Richard (Joan) Wiese, and Vernon Lloyd (Anne C.) Holcomb; and his brother, Ronnie Scott. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home - Columbia, Illinois. Services will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home - Columbia, Illinois. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Southern View Village Hall, 3410 South 5th Street, Springfield, IL 62703.
