Wanda L. Mueller, nee Cates, 91 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL, . She was born February 20, 1931, in Vienna, IL. Wanda was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Bellevile, IL., and the Golden Age Club. She had also worked at Eckert's. Surviving are her sons, Larry A. (Karen K.) Mueller and Robert J. (Karen G.) Mueller, her grandchildren, Jason (Jaime) Mueller and Jessica (fiance Chris Rensing) Grant her great-grandchildren, Reine, Braden and Melody Grant, Charlotte and Abigail Mueller, her brother, Earl (LaVonne) Cates, her sister, Anna Mae (Gene) Procasky, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Howard L. Mueller, her sister, Mary (Robert) Schaffhauser, and her parents, Clifford and Thelma, nee Choate, Cates. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. and on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.at Leesman funeral Home in Millstadt, Il. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., with Rev. Bob Swickard, officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Belleville, IL.
