Michael "Mickey" Kent, 64 years, of Red Bud, passed away on February 2, 2022 in Smithton, IL. He was born October 6, 1957, in Red Bud, Illinois to his father, Ronald Kent and grandmother, Leona Rahn (Ma). Michael worked at Roma's as a butcher for several years. He enjoyed playing cards, photography, and most of all, spending time with his grandkids. Surviving is his daughter, Michelle Kent of Red Bud, IL, sisters; Barb (Steve) Mertz and Karen (Don) Kuhn, brothers; Allen (Sue) Kent and Gary (Cori) Kent, cousins; Donna Dale and Rodney Dale, aunt, Juanita Kent, nephews; Gregory, Bradley, Spencer, Dylan, and Justin, nieces; Ashley and Diana, step-mom, Bonnie Kent, and grandkids; Kyle, Lily, Morgan, and Mckenzie. Michael was preceded in death by father, Ronald, Ma, uncle Donnie Kent and cousin Tom Dale. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 8th, at Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud, Illinois from 3PM-6PM. Services will be held Tuesday, February 8th at 6PM at Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud with Rev. Cory Hartz officiating.
