Karen L. Reyther, 61 years of East Carondelet, IL, passed away on January 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born September 9, 1960, in East St. Louis, IL. Surviving are her daughters, Coleen Alvizo of O Fallon, IL, Corey Staggs, Daughter, & Candi Calderon, her son, Jake Baldwin, her grandchildren, Zander (Savannah) Staggs, Celise Calderon, Olivia Staggs, JC Cook, Carisa Calderon-Mendez, Skylar Alvizo, Jose "JJ" Alvizo, Ava Staggs, Zaul Calderon, Marra Staggs, Sammy Baldwin & Remi Meyer, her great grandchildren, Rosalie Cook & Eleanor Staggs, her father & mother-in-law, Ernest (Annette) Higgerson Sr., her siblings, Kathy (Pedro) Osorio, Ernest "Chip" (Tina) Higgerson, Jr., Edward "Wes" (Susan) Higgerson, Erin (Kristal) Higgerson, Denna (Ramon) Maldonado & Rachel Higgerson, her step-brother, Brian (Sheryl) Frierdich, her pet, Jaxx, and many loving and caring aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, great nephews, great nieces and 1 great great niece. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Higgerson her maternal grandparents, Edward & Bertha Taylor, her paternal grandparents Joseph & Eileen Higgerson and her step-sister, Veronica Cote. At Mrs. Reyther's request, she will be cremated. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to her daughter Coleen Alvizo as they will have a celebration of life.
