Edna Del was a gift in my life and a gift to the church! We served together on part of the Church and Ministry Committee in Illinois South Conference where she graciously and generously shared her wisdom, gifts and skills, and wit. I will be forever grateful that our paths crossed.
Edna Dell was a woman of considerable insight and foresight. I admired her for her wit, her tenacious spirit, and her ability to analyze situations that would stump and stifle many others. Her love of life and yearning to serve was infectious. I found Edna Dell to be one of the most unique persons I ever had the pleasure to know.
ED (twin sister as she would say) truly was and will always be one of a kind in all of the best ways. She could give you all the wisdom and wit in the world and make you laugh until you cried! She was my grandma Jeans best friend & has always been like a grandmother to me & my siblings & will always be family to us. We are going to miss her more than words can say & are truly blessed to have known such a beautiful & loving human being. Cheers to you ED (I’ll do my best to start appreciating scotch for you)!
