Mike Johnston
I have so many great memories of Larry. He was a walking encyclopedia. The things he taught me about feed and feed ingredient quality proved to be invaluable to my career in the business. He had a positive impact on everyone he interacted with.
One of my favorite memories of him was the time I shared a CD of Roy D Mercer recordings of prank phone calls . He and Bob Broyles listened to it on a road trip back in the late 90’s. He said they never laughed so hard and he adopted several of the phrases from that CD as his own .
The one” how big a ole boy are ya” was his favorite and he used it as a greeting to me every time we spoke after that.
Everyone that knew him loved him. His legacy will live on for decades.
